Write It Down

When we feel lonely or disconnected, we are more likely to expect rejection or have self-critical thoughts - it can become a vicious cycle.  Journaling can be a great way to check in with ourselves and help us notice if we’re feeling connected or disconnected. So grab a notebook and ask yourself the following questions…

Exercise:

Find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed

  1. Grab a notebook and and a pen

  2. Chose one of the prompt questions and write it at the top of your page.

  3. Write without stopping for 3 minutes (time yourself).  You are writing for you so it doesn't need to be good.  The important thing is to keep your pen moving. 

  4. Repeat for another prompt.
