Be Kind

Carrying out acts of kindness has been shown to improve our sense of connection and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. It can help us break out of the Cycle of Loneliness.  When we perform several kind acts over the course of a single day in a week, the effect is even stronger.  Our invitation to you is to think about what acts of kindness you could enact this week.

Exercise:

  1. Brainstorm a list of kind things you might do - use the Kindness Inspiration Generator above if you get stuck.

  2. Pick three you’re going to commit to performing this week.

  3. For best results, pick a Kindness Day and do them all on one day.

  4. Notice how you feel afterward and jot down some notes in your journal.
